The 8th Night කියන්නේ Korean horror / mystery / supernatural type එකේ movie එකක්. මේ film එකේ story එක mainly ancient demon spirit එකක් ගැන. අවුරුදු 2500කට කලින් බුදුන් වහන්සේ ලෝකය විනාශ කරන්න යන භයානක අසුරයෙක්ගේ “රතු ඇස” සහ “කලු ඇස” වෙන් කරලා වෙන වෙනම සිර කරලා තිබුණා. ඒ ඇස් දෙක එකතු වුණොත් නැවතත් විශාල විනාශයක් වෙයි කියලා කියන prophecy එකක් තියෙනවා

කාලය ගතවෙලා modern time එකේ Professor Kim කියන පුද්ගලයා ancient relic එකක් හොයාගෙන unknowingly ඒ evil power එක නැවත අවදි කරනවා. එතනින් පස්සේ අමුතු මරණ, possession cases, සහ supernatural සිදුවීම් පටන් ගන්නවා. Demon එක මිනිස්සුන්ගේ ශරීර වලට ඇතුල් වෙමින් step by step තමන්ගේ සම්පූර්ණ බලය ලබාගන්න උත්සාහ කරනවා.

මේ වෙලාවේ Park Jin-soo කියන former monk කෙනාට මේ demon එක නවත්තන responsibility එක වැටෙනවා. ඔහු එක්ක young monk කෙනෙක් වන Cheong-seokත් එකතු වෙනවා. Monk කෙනා prayer beads එකක් සහ axe එකක් අරගෙන demon possession වලට මුහුණ දෙන scenes movie එකේ ගොඩක් creepy විදිහට පෙන්නනවා. ඒ අතර detective Kim Ho-tae murders investigate කරනවා, හැබැයි धीरे धीरे මේ murders supernatural case එකක් කියලා ඔහුට තේරෙන්න පටන් ගන්නවා.

Movie එකේ special thing එක තමයි normal jump scares වලට වඩා dark atmosphere එක, Buddhist mythology mix කරපු occult story එක, සහ mystery buildup එක. Ending එකේ demon එක complete form එකට එන්න කලින් monksලා sacrifice සහ spiritual ritual එකක් use කරලා ඒක නවත්තන්න try කරනවා. The 8th Night is a South Korean horror mystery film that mixes supernatural horror with Buddhist mythology. The story begins with an ancient evil spirit that was sealed away 2500 years ago by Buddha. The demon’s power was divided into two parts — the “Red Eye” and the “Black Eye.” It was believed that if the two eyes were ever reunited, the demon would return and bring chaos and destruction to the world.

In the present day, an archaeologist accidentally awakens the evil force after discovering an ancient relic. Soon after, strange deaths and terrifying possession cases begin to happen across the city. The demon moves from person to person, slowly regaining its full power while leaving a trail of fear and violence behind.

The main character, Park Jin-soo, is a former monk who has spent years preparing for the return of this evil spirit. Along with a young monk named Cheong-seok, he tries to stop the demon before it reaches its final form. As they investigate the supernatural events, a detective named Kim Ho-tae also becomes involved and slowly realizes that the murders are connected to something beyond human understanding.

The movie focuses more on atmosphere, mystery, and psychological tension rather than constant jump scares. Its dark cinematography, religious symbolism, and eerie mood make it different from many typical horror films. The ending becomes intense as the monks attempt a dangerous spiritual ritual to stop the demon once and for all.
