Black Water කියන්නේ action/thriller genre එකට අයත්, ගොඩක් tension සහ fight scenes තියෙන movie එකක්. මේකේ ප්රධාන චරිත වලට Jean-Claude Van Damme සහ Dolph Lundgren වගේ legendary action actors දෙන්නම රංගනය කරනවා.
කතාව ප්රධාන වශයෙන් revolve වෙන්නේ CIA agent කෙනෙක් වන Scott Wheeler ගැන. ඔහු අහඹු ලෙස අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන, සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම රහසිගත submarine jail එකකට දාගන්නවා. මේක “black site” එකක් නිසා ලෝකයටත් නොදන්න තැනක්. Scottට එතනට ඇවිත් ඉන්නේ ඇයි කියලා හිතාගන්නවත් බැහැ. එතනදි ඔහුට හමුවෙන්නේ Marco කියන hard-core prisoner කෙනා (Dolph Lundgren).
දෙන්නා එකට එක්වෙලා, මේ mysterious prison එකෙන් පැනගන්න plan එකක් හදනවා. ඒත් ඒක ලේසි වැඩක් නෙවෙයි—high security systems, armed guards, betrayal, hidden secrets වගේ දේවල් ගොඩක් තියෙනවා. කතාව පුරාවට trust, survival, revenge වගේ themes highlight වෙනවා.
මේ movie එකේ special වෙන්නේ confined space එකක් (submarine එකක් ඇතුලේ) තුළ tension build කරන එක සහ hand-to-hand combat scenes. Action loversලට මේක entertaining movie එකක්.
