descendants of the sun

Descendants of the Sun is a beautiful story about love, responsibility, and life decisions between a soldier and a doctor. The two main characters in this story are Song Joong-ki (Yoo Si-jin), a special forces officer, and Song Hye-kyo (Kang Mo-yeon), a doctor.

Yoo Si-jin is a soldier who risks his life for his country, and Mo-yeon is a doctor who makes saving the lives of patients her main responsibility. Since the two of them have different professions, their opinions and decisions often clash. Therefore, their love does not go smoothly.

A special part of the story is that they go to a war and danger area called “Uruk”. There, the challenges they face together between war, earthquakes, accidents, and medical emergencies add more heat to the story. At the same time, the times when they have to choose between their responsibilities and love put their relationship to the test.
